National Sample Survey 72nd Rounds
NSS 72nd Round (July 2014 - June 2015)
A. Subjects covered :
(i) Domestic Tourism Expenditure (Schedule 21.1)
B. Objective of the Survey :
Domestic Tourism Expenditure Survey is designed to collect detailed information on household expenditure on tourism along with some information on household characteristics and trip characteristics in relation to domestic overnight trips, required for preparation of third Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) which will be done by the Ministry of Tourism (MOT).
C. Present Status :
The survey has been completed in telangana state by covering 385 samples in rural areas and 352 samples in urban areas. Computerization and validation of State sample data completed and generation of reports as per tabulation plan is in progress.
